Went for some good mtb rides the last few days. Two in the pouring rain and mud and today in the sunshine! Yesterdays ride consisted of some TT work on a mtb circuit and with the mud and my not having any mud tires yet (still waiting for them to arrive) as well as my brakes not having as much stopping power as I was thinking they should it made for some interesting/exciting corners! Basically the brakes just don't have as much stopping power and that combined with the abrasive conditions and resin pads by the end of a 2hr ride I had no pads left. So it was tough. Tomorrow is a road ride for me and I am looking forward to it! Oh and I have a road bike down here now! its a Blue RC 4 full carbon with Ultegra groupo, it should be nice!
